Charitable Organization Application for Funding
Bonneville Cycling Club invites your group or organization to apply for grant or scholarship money that we raise on June 7th at our 2008 Little Red Riding Hood bike event. This event is celebrating its 22nd year and is one of the largest women's only bike rides in the country.
Awards will range from $500.00 to $5,000 each depending on the impact your group makes on the important issues facing women. Last year over $17,000 was donated to charity on behalf of the 1,700 women riders that participated.
Please submit the following information on your organization letterhead and limit your response to one page. Fliers, brochures and other supporting documentation may be attached. Summarized below are the evaluation criteria:
- Describe your group mission and how it relates to the important issues facing women today.
- The amount you are requesting and contact info of the group's representative
- How you would utilize the funds
- The number of women your group affects now and/or would be helped if you received this funding
- Your organizations willingness to provide volunteers (please specify number) at the Bonneville Cycling club Utah lake bike event (ULCER) on August 9th at Thanksgiving point. Awards will be presented that day on-stage in front of at least 2,000 riders.
- You are also invited to have an information table ( or send literature) at the Little Red event on June 6 and 7th in Wellsville Utah whether your group is selected or not.
